Simple furniture, in bare wood

Kiji is the Japanese word for bare wood: wood before paint or stain, showing its own grain. kijihome makes plans for plain, useful furniture you can build from everyday lumber with a few basic tools.

Each plan is quiet in design and careful in detail: dimensioned drawings, a cut list, cutting diagrams and step-by-step assembly, in both inch and metric. Every part, length and screw count is checked against a 3D model, and I build each piece myself before the plan goes on sale.

The plans are sold on Etsy. New plans for simple home and shop furniture are on the way.
